I get a giggle out of this one.
This is our Studio Headquarters
for Kylemore Meadows! Actually,
it's the Dan O'Hara cottage at the
Irish Cultural Heritage Center
near Clifden, County Galway.  Set
high upon a ridge on one of the
Twelve Bens, the cottage has
magnificent views of the valley
below.  And if one is around, you
might even be kissed by a
donkey!

Throughout these pages, you will see photographs of Great Britain, Ireland, the Midwestern United States, plus some from
Bosnia-Hercegoniva.  We will be adding more European pictures soon, so stay tuned!

The Connemara Photographer began in 1997 in - where else?  Connemara, Ireland, parts of which are featured in the classic
movie, "The Quiet Man," staring John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara.  You will see on the grounds of Ashford Castle in Cong, the
cottage used in the movie. And you will also see some of the landscape used in the movie throughout our photographs, as it
was filmed in County Galway of which Connemara is the western part.

Plus, there are more photos of County Waterford, over to Wales, more of England and coming soon, Scotland.  All pictures have
been taken by Mick, Karin or Debra Osmun (Karin's sister).............................................................................v
Portmerion, Wales.  This is a resort area, built
in the 1960's and used as the backdrop for the
cult classic TV show, "The Prisoner" starring
Patrick McGoohan. This is a popular holiday
resort or day trip destination.

The Connemara Photographer is a family enterprise, as are the rest of the Cook Companies. Occasionally we put
on some personal pictures for our family and friends in the States, England and Ireland.  We hope you will get a
kick out of them, too!
